The diagnostic and tuning equipment subsidiaries of the Bridgewater-based former Crypton Technology Group, Crypton Limited, and its subsidiaries Autodiagnos Limited, Autodiagnos GmbH, and Dieseltune Limited, have merged with the Omitec Group, headquartered in Devizes, Wiltshire, to form ¡°one of the most significant garage equipment groups in Europe, and probably now the largest independent diagnostics company in the world today¡±.

Nevelle Marchent of Crypton stays with the new company, responsible for all Omitec Group¡¯s aftermarket business as Managing Director, with fellow Crypton director Peter Houlden also remaining, as the Engineering Director of the same business unit. Both join the Omitec Group Executive Committee.
